The book is stand-alone and does not require either the Forbidden Psalm rulebook or the core Run from the Dark RPG. Forbidden Psalm is a 28mm miniatures-agnostic game. You can use any miniatures you already own that fit the bill, or build custom minis for this game (with random tables to help you determine how to build them). Solo play and coop rules are included. All content can also be used in the MÖRK BORG TTRPG. So this means that Forbidden Dark also brings with it rules for using Run from the Dark monsters for your games of MÖRK BORG TTRPG.
