Have to voice one of my main peeves. In the Bentonville article the author says the battle was fought one month before the war ended. The war did not end when Lee surrendered!!!!! There were still three Confederate armies in the field, Davis was still free, and one siege and several small engagements that were fought after Lee gave up. The war was not officially declared over until June of 1865. Again, this from the cult who think the war was only in the Eastern theater.
