Festooned with fabulous headwear, The Carabinieri's primary role was as military policemen, though they were trained and equipped for front-line combat. Mobile battalions were also used for reconnaissance and liaison.
L3/33 CC Tankette With Anti-Tank Rifle
Italy's L3 tankettes were the most numerous armored fighting vehicles of the Italian war effort. The vehicle went through many modifications and adaptations over the years, and this version mounts a Solothurn anti-tank rifle as its primary armament, allowing this diminutive vehicle a fighting chance against armored opponents.
