This set provides an add-on to Wargaming on a Grid: Northern Europe.
It includes a plain flat desert grid and overlays to provide coastal edges, urban areas, dunes, soft sand, salt flats, impassible rough/high ground, and linear edge-strips for wadis, rivers and ridges (which can be defined as impassible or contours, according to scenario).
In addition, there is a single sheet of NATO-style wargaming counters to compliment those already provided in the parent set mentioned above. This countersheet is aimed at early French and minor nations.
The samples provided illustrate the contents and demonstrate the system in use.
