AdeptiCon 2017: Less Than 2 Weeks Out & Vendor Hall

I just noticed that entry to the dealers area is free, not requiring an admission badge. That is a great idea for people who want to come to the event to shop. I had a good friend Who is essentially a wargame figure collector. He didn't really care that much about playing games. He was active 15 to 20 years ago before he passed away. He wanted to go to historicon and the other big East Coast conventions to shop. This was before the Internet was so active.

He really didn't want to pay A heavy admission charge just to go to the dealers area. He would drive down early in the morning, figure out what the admission badges look like, counterfeit one for himself, and spend the day shopping in the dealers area. Sometimes he went to the flea market, but mostly spent all of his money buying things from the dealers. A couple of times he went with others in our group and did the usual admission, and walked around the game areas, but mostly went to socialize with the rest of us.
