The New Zealand Wars – The War in the Valley; Wellington War 1846

This book carries on the New Zealand Wars conflict with background provided about the history and people that took part in the war.

War in the Valley focuses on the actions that took place in the Wellington region, that was having problems between settlers wanting land and local Maori refusing to sell or give up land.

Governor George Grey now had to head south and deal with another Maori tribe on the brink of armed rebellion. Again he was coming up against two formidable Maori leaders, in Te Rauparaha and Te Rangihaeata,

The booklet is full of information and details about the actions and battles that took place. Information you will find inside are the orders of battle, descriptions, and important dates of the campaign. To play the scenarios and campaign, you will need the rules which are in a previous title – WP01 The New Zealand Wars – Skirmish & Campaign Rules; The Waikato War.
