Just released! The new deluxe edition of Eagle's Prey: Tactical & Campaign Rules for the 19th Century North America has been completed and is now available.

Eagle's Prey

Eagle's Prey: Tactical and Campaign Miniatures Rules for the Period 1820 thru 1888 deluxe second edition covers the Mexican Civil War, American Civil War, Seminole Wars, Mexican-American War, Apache Wars, Maximillian Intervention, and more. It features complete army lists, leader lists, and complete rules and map for running a campaign and using any other ruleset for tactical play as well.

The Mexican Army is divided into three periods with the Imperial Mexican Army having its own list. The United States also have multiple lists to reflect the evolution of the Army. These are complemented by period lists for Great Britain, France, Imperial Russia, and Spain.

Before the first edition was released ten years ago, the rules had gone an extensive twelve-year research period, followed by extensive playtesting of not just the game mechanisms, but the actual "feel" for the period is reflected in the campaign system and the armies themselves.

The campaign system allows for the recreation of all of the drama, agony and skullduggery that permeated the period. It places European powers at odds with the United States and the Mexican Republic, as well as each other.

  • Complete Tactical rules system to re-fight the battles in miniature
  • Various Tactical and Campaign scenarios to relive history or make it!
  • Naval component to the action as players can use any Naval system or use Casemate & Cannon
  • Full-color scenario maps
  • Army lists for Spain, Great Britain, France, Mexico, United States, and Russia
  • Create minor free states such as Republic of Texas, the Confederate States of America, or your own creation
  • Send out settlers, create cities and territories in the hopes of statehood
  • Face the dozens of native tribes and leaders of renown as you try to forge ahead
  • Work with the Mexican Congress or the U.S. Congress with an innovative Congressional simulator to determine and approve your policies
  • Encounter bandits and rogue bands out for loot and plunder!

Face North America in a way never-before-gamed!
