Youre right Condotta. You can play Pershing, Banana Wars, Mexican Revolution with Villa and Zapatta ( Iam thinking of doing this in the near future ) even WW2 if you like.

Greetings!

We are proud to announce the release of a new set of tabletop wargame rules: Triumph and Tragedy, set in the period between 1900 and 1939. Our rules allow you to play games of various sizes, from small Colonial adventure scenarios to company-sized actions.

Triumph & Tragedy

We've gone for a rather new and hopefully innovative activation system – rather than having a regular, static game turn made up of subsequent "phases" conducted in a rigid order, Triumph & Tragedy combines simultaneous and subsequent activations to quicken the pace of the game. Our play-test games have shown that this system comes rather close to a simulation of "real-time" while still avoiding too much confusion.

Figures are usually single-based, although you are free to use "vignettes" of artillery pieces, HMGs and similar. Units are fielded in sizes between five and sixteen figures, depending on quality. The basic rulebook contains a points system framework which will allow you to construct pretty much any force of your choice. The basic rulebook includes sections on artillery, aircraft and ground vehicles.

The basic 40-page softcover rulebook includes playing and order cards for units, as well as a set of artillery templates.

The game is available in Europe at pardulon.com.

Our U.S. distributor is Brigade Games - see here.
