We've released another boat model, this time a Russian messenger river gunboat of the Bayonet type laid down in 1909. The Bayonet types were a series of ten armored messenger vessels, designed and built in the Putilov Factory specifically for action in the Amur River basin, coming into operation in the autumn of 1910. One of the main requirements for the project was the possibility of carrying the ships by rail.

Used by the Red Navy, they saw action against the Japanese, and a few were captured by the Finns.

  • The model is cast in resin with white-metal fittings
