Just a brief post to let interested parties know that this Friday will be the last day pre-orders for the 3rd Edition of John Company: The Conquest of India, 1750-1860.
Response to this special offer to raise funds allowing our printers to "set-up" JC for printing has been gratifying, and met our minimum within hours of first notice here at TMP.
However, as other very expensive titles to produce (notably, The Sun Never Sets) need similar boosts to bring them back into stock, extra sales of JC in this special promotion will be very helpful as well.
As a reminder, then, until Friday, March 5, John Company, normally priced at $45.00 USD, may be ordered from TVAG for $30.00 USD, plus postage ($7.00 USD U.S., $10.00 USD Canada/Mexico, $14.00 USD overseas).
All orders must still be placed by email (TVAG@att.net), including your address, or by calling direct to 405-752-2420.
Again, no money will be requested until time expires.
This massive ruleset comes with twelve sheets (double sided) of full-color cardstock Game Decks, four black-and-white "Cheat Sheets," more color game counter sheets, and has been expanded to 170 pages of text. This includes the rules proper, 13 pages of Weather Tables, four pages of Designers' Notes, three of Bibliography, four ready-to-play scenarios (27 pages, now including full color maps!) six pages listing John Company's battles, four pages of figure sources, six pages of uniform data, and two pages of basing templates.
Of especially great value are the army lists, which detail organizational and tactical information for the Afghans, Marathas, Sikhs, British, and HEIC units, with special emphasis on the latter for the Indian Mutiny.
This information was compiled from sources rare and esoteric - not to mention frequently expensive! - but here it is in one place, and now at a bargain price.
This special promotion price remains the lowest we have ever offered, or are likely to, for this title.
So if you've been tottering on the fence, now is the time to take the leap while there's still time!
