Fantasy Roman Empire Map from Hinterwelt

aecurtis Fezian writes:

Skandians fighting trolls and giants, with deities in the picture ("Odin, Thor, Freyr and many of the other Norse gods live amongst them."?

Evil wizards in Russia (Alkasas) setting themselves up in opposition to Rome?

Teleport sites?

I don't think I'm confused; I can see this ain't quite the Rome I know.

And it's $12.99 when I look at the site...

Hinterwelt Enterprises announces the release of:

HWE2510 - Roman Empire Map

(Map for Roma Imperious)

$12.99 USD

Map of the Roman Empire (Roma Imperious)

The Map of the Roman Empire is a support offering for Roma Imperious, HinterWelt's popular fantasy game based on an alternate history of the Roman Empire.

This beautiful chart was hand drawn by cartographer Clayton Bunce to resemble an ancient map of Western Europe, and includes an inset of the rest of Eurasia. Like the core rules, the map combines actual history with fantastic elements.

Trade roads and cities based on historical fact are shown, along with the fictional kingdom of Alkasas and the location of teleport sites for commercial use.

Fans of the Roman Empire will love this map! The Map of the Roman Empire (SKU# HWE2510) comes in two-toned sepia for an antique look. It measures 24" by 36" on poster-stock paper, and is packaged in stackable triangular tubes with a picture of the map on the outside.

An MSRP of $12.99 USD makes this more affordable than most maps, and should appeal to the fantasy and historical players alike.
