Three Hobbit Heroes for LotR

Back to Hobby News

Like the hornblower a lot, Paladin Took a fair bit, and Fatty not at all.

In the Scouring in the book, he was skinny from being in the lockholes so long.

Now he looks like that fat kid from Willy Wonka (good one bandit86).

Little guys (Hobbits) this week, as we release new models for the Scouring of the Shire!

06-69 - HOBBITS OF THE SHIRE

$15.00 USD

This new pack contains three heroes for the Scouring of the ShirePaladin Took, "Fatty" Bolger, and a Hobbit Horn Blower.

Paladin Took

Paladin Took was the only leader of the Hobbitry to formalize any sort of resistance against the ruffians. By the time Frodo and his companions return from the War of the Ring, Paladin has a sizeable force under his command, fiercely fending off the depredations of the ruffians and protecting the borders of Tookland.

'Fatty' Bolger

More commonly referred to as 'Fatty' due to his impressive girth, Fredegar Bolger comes from a long-established Eastfarthing family. When Frodo alights to Brandy Hall, Fredegar assists him and is later driven from the hall when the Nazgûl come searching for the errant Baggins. It is his quick thinking in raising the alarm that startles the Ringwraiths into flight.

Hobbit Horn Blower

Signal horns rouse the populace of the Shire to all manner of threats, from wolves to drunken Big Folk. Hobbits take great solace in strength of numbers – something that a fierce blast on a signal horn guarantees. If there is at least one signal horn on the battlefield, all Hobbits gain +1 Courage.

Each Blister contains 3 metal miniatures.
