Nick : Could you consider launching another hideously perverted line of miniatures based on the Vietnam war ? With experimental rad GI's, mutated vietcongs, undead soldiers of both camps, Jungle reptilian monsters, that kind of cool things ? Something between "Apocalypse Now" and "The night of the living dead" ? It will sell, for sure.

We've a number of products on the shelf this week to appeal to all fans of Alternative Sci-fi/Horror World War Two.

Twilight of the Dead

The first is the third in the series of novels from Black Flame Publications. Titled Twilight of the Dead, priced £6.99 GBP, this novel is set in April 1945 and continues the story from the first two books about the fight against the Rumanian Vampire Lord Constanta who is using the chaos of World War Two to further his own aims. The previous books are titled Operation Vampyr and The Blood Red Army, and are also in stock at North Star. All three books are based on the 2000ad comic story Fiends of the Eastern Front.

Amazing War Stories

Secondly, I'm pleased to announce we have Amazing War Stories in stock, price £12.00 GBP. Amazing War Stories is the latest supplement from Rattrap Publications for their .45 Adventure wargame. Amazing War Stories takes you from the Pulp adventures of .45 Adventure into Weird World War Two, and is perfect for our Projekt X range.

Speaking of which, here are photos of our latest four Projekt X figures. Projekt X is a 1/48th scale (36mm) range of Weird War figures, designed to be used with our North Star 1/48th scale figures and the growing range of 1/48th scale plastic kits available.

Skull Guard Standard Bearer

Figure PX1023 (£2.80 GBP) is the Skull Guard Standard Bearer. The Skull Guard are the lifeguard of Dr Klaus, leader of Projekt X.

X-Soldat

Figures PX1024, PX1025 and PX1026 (£2.80 GBP each) are all X-Soldats, the twisted creations of Dr. Klaus and Dr. Kipps of Projekt X in their experiments to create the ultimate soldier.
