Montjoie! Campaign Report Begins

Old Bear writes:

Number6,

Having worked in publishing I'm going to have to disagree with your statement that "The only difference between good writers and poor ones is that good writers are good at editing their own work". I have had to read the work of some genuinely lousy writers in my time aand frankly the only thing that made them good was a total re-write.

I suspect your statistical assessment in the last paragraph may not hold up in fact either, although I do agree with the overall principle of your theory.

Alex has launched a project to keep a record of his first Montjoie! campaign.

Montjoie, the medieval combat skirmish game

"My first game of Montjoie! was played and it lasted.... 5 minutes," he writes. "My star did very well for the first game. He alone faced a knight and a cleric, killing the first with a arrow and recruiting the later to his group."

The campaign record is in PDF format in the Two Hour Wargames Yahoo! Group files section, in the Big Hagar folder.
