Welcome to the 2017 Wargamers' Annual. My contributors have once again produced a wonderful selection of articles.
This will be the first Annual, or for that matter Summer Special, that does not include a specific section with Bob Marrion's wonderful illustrations. As regular readers will know, Bob Marrion passed away last year, leaving a huge void in the world of military illustrators. I have, however, used a number of Bob's pictures to help illustrate articles.
This Annual features both Pike & Shot and Horse & Musket periods. There are "how-tos" and in one case (Lights Out) a complete set of rules. As ever, I hope that the cross-section of articles will provide something for everyone.
