Hmm.

I'd sand down some of the extraneous detail. It's actually odd to talk about something have too little detail, but as this model arguably shows, too much of any good thing is harmful. The price is simply way out there. Looking at it, I'd say a kitbash and scratchbuild could make the same model without too much effort – especially considering the wealth of orky stuff coming.

I've not bought a number of the new Ultramarine commander types for the same reason on the detail subject. Capt. Sicarius springs to mind as the sculpt in-studio might have looked fantastic, but in production, all that detail makes the poor fellow look like he couldn't maneuver as well as battlecruiser.

Available for pre-order is our new Ork Warboss on Bike.

Ork Warboss on Bike

Covered in lavish Orky detail from its huge jet-engined warbike to the Warboss's chain-driven power-saw, this model (designed by Mark Bedford and Will Hayes) makes the perfect leader for a force of Speed Freaks, or can represent any Warboss who just can't wait around to get stuck into the killing!

The Ork Warboss on Bike is available to pre-order now for release the week commencing the 24th of November, and comes complete with a special resin base.
