Absolute Monarch

The long-awaited addition to the Absolute Emperor rules system.

Here, players can use the mechanics they are familiar with to fight major battles of the Seven Years' War. Everything you like about AE is here, but with tweaks to promote the use of linear tactics of the period. Additionally, there is a sub-set of rules for fighting the American War of Independence. You get the core rules, where the maneuver units are brigaded regiments, the AWI variant tailored for smaller battles and difficult terrain, and top-down silhouettes to allow new gamers to the period to try the game prior to buying miniatures. There is a QRS as well.

Unlike Absolute Emperor, the formatting is designed for key word recognition, ease of concept comprehension, graphic representations of important rules, and easy-to-remember combat adjudication.
