Actually the two different names make sense since the saying in WWI was "Watch Your Six!" and in WWII it was "Check Your Six!" – mapping to the two historical periods covered by the two rules

I know there's a few of you that are tracking my publication process, so here's the latest.

Got some great art for the covers

Finished talking to the publisher today. In essence, I can reduce the cost of publication by $12.00 USD (that would be $12.00 USD to the buyer) by releasing documents that are at least 100 pages (that would be 200 printed pages if you count both sides). This is both good news and bad news. In essence, I am going to have to combine the rules with my supplemental materials dealing with the Americans. No big deal from my standpoint as I was going to release the American stuff at cost, anyway.

The bad news is now I have to get the American stuff done - a lot sooner than anticipate or I can include a bunch more variants of aircraft. Probably will do both.

Further bad news is now my future stuff should probably run at least 100 pages as well. That is a lot of work - double what I was planning on.

Well, the plan is the same for now. Rules to be published will debut at Enfilade 2008 - that will be the final and acid test for the rules. I already have the contracts for the art work in hand. And, I have started crunching through all the stuff needed for the American Supplemental Materials that will be published together with the rules (rules are about 70 pages (single side of page) or 35 pages (printing on both sides).

Will try to get this all done by the end of August. If not, it will be much later (have several matters at work that are going to consume most if not all of my time in September and October).

Don't suppose anyone wants to proof read all the American Stuff as I crank it out? Do not sign up for this lightly. It is a thankless job that will take up way more time than you think.
