The shape of each order is the same… There are different shapes and colors for each nation… a blue eagle for France, black cross for Prussia, etc. The photo just shows examples of each national marker. A set includes 14 of the same color marker, 2 of each brigade order. Sorry that wasn't clear!

Quindia of League of Augsburg writes:

In Republic to Empire, each brigade requires a distinct order for it to function on the field of battle.

Markers
  • Each order has particular characteristics and options.
  • Each set provides players with 14 large, free-standing counters indicating the various order options:
    • ADVANCE: ATTACK: DEFEND: MOVE: READY: REFORM: REST

There are two of each type of order marker. The order description is laser-etched on one side, which faces away from you opponent (thus concealing the orders you have given to your brigade).

In addition to the Order Markers, there are sets of Resolve and Disorder Markers, Artillery Markers, and Casualty Markers.

Of course, these markers can be used for any game, but the patent-pending designs are unique to Wordtwister and are only available from leagueofaugsburg.com.
