This is a great addition to the items coming out to allow gaming of the IWI. Just need a source book like the one for the Very British Civil War from Solway Crafts and Miniatures. Perhaps someone with the expertise of Gallowglass could do this. The section on the Lancia Armoured Truck is already written :)

I already have a couple Crossley tenders from eBay, by Corgi. These fit well with 28mm figs. These show up all the time, pretty cheap

Gallowglass has given us the hisorical use of the Lancias but I am sure some made their way over to England for the Civl War -- or were made on site, there. Some had to be exported to China in the later 1920's.

Hi, all!

Among lots of new stuff we'll be releasing at Salute will be this 1/56 scale Lancia Armoured Truck. The Lancias were used by the Crown Forces in The Irish War of Independence, and also by the National Army during the following Civil War.

It would also go nicely with forces for the fictional British Civil War of 1938!

The model was made by Ian Crouch of BEF Miniatures.

If you would like to pick up one at either Salute or Triples, please pre-order as we will only have a limited amount at these shows, especially Triples. Price to be confirmed as soon as we can.
