Yes, looks good.

Unfortunately, I don't have many of the miniatures painted up that are required – my cav is on the back-burner since it was so rare, especially in the earlier campaigns that I've focused on.

Once I get everything painted up, however, I'll give it a try.

It is with great pleasure that we can announce the winner of the Sharp Practice scenario competition. Chris Stosen took first prize in a very hotly fought battle, with his Escape from Jenkins Neck scenario set in the American War of Independence.

Sharp Practice

The scenario can be downloaded for free from the Lard Island News blog, which may be found at toofatlardies.co.uk/blog.

Our thanks must go to New Zealand's own Sharp Practice aficionado, Roly Hermans, who runs the Sharp Practice Camp web-community, where lovers of the rules old and new can swap ideas and chat around the metaphorical campfire. Why not check it out here?

We'll be making the other scenarios from the competition available for free over the rest of August.

Thanks to everyone who submitted a scenario, the quality and the range of conflicts was inspiring, to the extent that we have decided to send a £5.00 GBP gift voucher to everyone who submitted an entry. Thanks to you all, and a very big 'well done' to Chris!
