The Hobbit & LotR Bert the Troll Fellowship Miniature Released

John Treadaway writes:

I always viewed "The Hobbit" as the story that Bilbo told when he got home to little nephews and so forth, silly old Ring addled halfling that he was, rather than what actually happened. Talking purses and all that.

On that basis, I think this is a superb model of a flesh eating hideous creature.

And yes – before anyone says anything – I know that – in the real world – Tolkien made it all up…

MS508 - Bert the Troll

Bert the Troll - Lord of the Rings metal miniatures from Mithril

One of the three Trolls from The Hobbit, whom Bilbo and his companions encountered on their journey along the East Road toward the mountains.

The area was known as the Trollshaws, as it was a well-known haunt of Stone Trolls who migrated there from the wild Ettenmoors farther north.

There are only 150 produced, and the price is €24.95 EUR. Duplicates are just €19.95 EUR.

Each miniature is already primed (grey), so collectors can paint them immediately.

This figure measures 37mm in height from the base to the top of his head.
