It is almost here!

In just one short week, it will be the 19th Annual Nashcon! Don't ya'll miss it. We've got a batch of games to tempt just about every style of gamer - we even have some kid-friendly GM's and games lined up (always a joy to let a 10-year-old trounce you at the Battle of Zama or some such, as it fires up their imagination and fuels their interest in the hobby).
We have a great FoW tournament lined up that can get you qualified for the big tournament at Historicon. We also will have a big DBA tournament Saturday night. You can find a batch of information here.
So, come on over to Nashville, game within spitting distance of three major battle locations of the Civil War (Nashville, Franklin and Murfreesboro) plus a few minor ones (like Spring Hill, Tullahoma, and Columbia). There are Antebellum homes to visit, music to listen to, and sights-a-plenty to see - like the Ryman Auditorium, the Grand Old Opry, or the Jack Daniels Distillery.
Also near by is the Annual Tennessee Renaissance Festival, which runs all weekend thru Monday. They have an International Jousting Competition that ends Monday - my wife and I usually go by that Monday, as the capper to a great weekend enjoying the likes of Axl the Sot, Johnny Phoenix, and the Washing Well Wenches. Their website is tnrenfest.com.
