The second expansion pack for Blast Pistol adds the following new features:
- Background information on mercenary units on the Fringe.
- Optional Covering Fire rule, permitting you to draw in fire from an inactive friendly unit while another unit moves up.
- New Sweep and Clear mission type.
- Two new Battlefield Conditions to try out:
- Chemical Battlefield
- Micro-gravity
- Five new units, focusing on mercenary outfits:
- This includes squads for the Black Dragons (solid, tactical troops), Rage Lizards (fast, close-combat infantry) and the Blood Storm (brutes with heavy weapons).
- Character-oriented players can employ a Bounty Hunter which offers bonus victory points for close combat kills and hunting down enemy characters.
- Lastly, for support, break out those armored car models for the M32 Scout Car, providing fast, long-ranged support with its auto-cannon.
Blast Pistol expansions are intended to be bite-sized.
