Thanks to all for your votes. Voting is now complete.

Tibetans won, with Sassanids and Nikephorian Byzantines behind (very close to each other), then Late Romans. Sure enough, that is how the models will be released, assuming business will support new ranges. Have a happy and prosperous 2008, all, and look for some or all of these ranges in that year!

Khurasan Miniatures announces:

Khurasan Miniatures is an upcoming 15mm miniature manufacturer that will specialize in the armies of Central Asia and their enemies. The company is well into working on its first line of miniatures, and advanced plans will soon be underway for the second line.

But what shall it be? Here's your chance to vote for that, from a selection of ten possibilities.

If you'd like to cast a vote, go to our homepage - khurasanminiatures.tripod.com - go to the bottom of the page, click on the army you'd most like to see created from the choices, and click "vote."

We will do our best to create models reflective of the current thinking on arms and equipment. For instance, Late Roman heavy infantry would have chainmail or scale armour and "ridge" or spangenhelm helmets, and proper clothing and weapons.

It will be obvious that the website is still under heavy construction. We expect to be operational in early 08!

Cheers!
