Even if a 17 pdr could or could not penetrate a King Tiger's frontal armor, sabot or not, it is still gonna ring the Tiger crews bell. One thing I have often heard about but no rules have really addressed is the effect of spalling in a tanks crew compartment. One thing veteran crews often did was to chip and/or scrape off any interior paint in the crew compartment. This minimized spailing to a point. Anyhoo I digress. Salut y'all!

Landed via Hamilcar gliders, the 17pdr guns provide the paratroopers with the anti-tank asset they require.

When placed well, these heavy guns are more than capable of seeing off even the heaviest German tank.
