They caused quite a stir when previewed at Games Day U.K., and now that the finished article is ready for release, I think you'll agree its been worth the wait - the Death Korps of Krieg Grenadiers are here in all their grim glory.
We have two initial releases for the Grenadiers, the Death Korps of Krieg Grenadier Squad which comprises ten carapace-armoured Grenadiers; seven with hellguns, one with a flamer, one with a grenade launcher, and a sergeant with chainsword and hellpistol.
Our second release is the two-man Death Korps of Krieg Grenadier Heavy Flamer Team, which is intended to be used as an additional upgrade for the Death Korps Grenadier Squad.
Fulfilling the roll of the Progenium Storm Troopers found in many Imperial Guard formations, the Death Korps Absolution Regiments use their Grenadiers as heavy infantry soldiers to spearhead attack waves, storm fortified positions and smash through enemy defence lines.
Full rules and unique options for Death Korps Grenadiers will be forthcoming as the range expands.
Personally, I can't heap enough praise on these models, to be honest - they're just so damn good: Not only do they exhibit the extraordinary quality of detail you've come to expect from the Death Korps, but these grim killers capture the dark and merciless nature of the Krieg wonderfully.
They're a perfect expansion to the Death Korps, and I'm quite sure that they will become a truly iconic part of the range. In fact, I can see them gracing many a gaming table and collection in the future, and not just as part of a Death Korps army, but used as Storm Troopers for Inquisition forces, in Armoured Fist squads, Guard armies using the heavy armour doctrine and many others, they're just that good!
