For my world of miniatures all I have to say is THANK GOD THEY DON'T DO PLASTIC ARTILLERY! If that ever happened besides my Perry WOTR (soon as I finish 2 armies) and Samurai. With 2 Warlord Pike and Shot armies, and a Warlord US Army thrown in for good measure. I would have to build 2 armies for the 1809 campaign.
But if they did Plastic Austrian cavalry, how much artillery would I really need? Lets see, 3 boxes of French infantry, 1 of Hussars, couple of guns, commanders. And for the Austrians,
4 boxes of infantry, wait for the plastic cavalry. Okay, I better lay down before my hand finds my wallet….

We are pleased to announce our plastic Austrian Napoleonic infantry are now available!

Austrian Napoleonic 'German' Infantry 1809-1815
Hard plastic

AN 40 contents

The box contents represent an Austrian 'German' infantry battalion from 1809-1815.

AN 40 painted unit

The command consists of an officer, standardbearer, drummer, sapper and two NCOs. The box contains heads for all figures, with either helmets (the helmet was last used in 1809), shakos (used from 1809-15) or the Landwehr corse-hut. Although the figures are designed for 1809 onwards as they have the 1808 higher-waisted coat, you could use them for the 1805 campaign if you ignore that detail.

AN 40 painted unit

There are 48 figures in the box, two flags, unit bases, and a full painting guide.

I've included a couple of pictures of the first (of many) units painted up by the talented digits of Jim Bowen. There's also a few pics of unpainted examples, as I know many people prefer to see them unpainted. There are pictures of sprues and painted individual figures on our site, too.

Pre-orders from us should be with you or about to be with you by the time you read this.
