Agis N reports:

Andy Cooper of West Wind was nice enough to provide me the September release minis of their brand-new Secrets of the 3rd Reich line.

So what is Secrets of the 3rd Reich?

Poster

A "What If?" WWII Pulp-orientated mini-line that compliments all other 28mm WWII minis I know. Just check the M203 American walker together with some Artizan minis on my website (link) to see what I am talking about...

M203 on patrol

The 1st wave of minis are:

German:

SdKfz 331 ''HORNET'

American:

M203 ''SARGE''

British:

R.A.T. RECON, AIRBORNE TRANSPORT
A45 BATTLEMASTER INFANTRY APC MkVI
A46 BATTLEMASTER RECON MK VII BISO

So you got already 3 walkers and 2 APCs. All models are combined Resin and Metal minis. The casting quality is crisp and good, the minis are delivered in a Plastic Blister. The walkers have a cast-on base. Since I like my minis with a round base, I removed some parts of it, which can be easily done.

Over the next months, West Wind will expand the range with more walkers and infantry models. Just see Andy's BLOG on the West Wind homepage. The German Jet Mecha is just fantastic.

I was honestly very impressed by the minis and really look forward to any more miniatures from this range. Gaming rules for the M203, the RAT and the German Hornet are provided in Scott Pyle's Supersystem 2nd edition rulebook.

If you are interested in alternate history superscience miniatures, this new mini-line is for you!

Cheers!
