After many months of preparation, Capitan Games Ltd., as the worldwide agent of Capitan Miniatures, S.L., owner of the rights of the former miniatures of Warmodelling/Fantassin Miniatures, are now in a position to announce the relaunch of the Warmodelling catalog of white-metal figures under the new brand name Battlemodels.
The Napoleonic range will be first, rapidly followed by the World War II and Ancients ranges and, finally, the Carlist and Spanish-American Wars ranges. We are adding the Napoleonic references to our online shop in early August, and will be taking advance orders for shipment in September.
We shall endeavor to ship all orders by the end of September but, if demand is very heavy, we may stray into October. Regular announcements will be made on our website. Figures will be packed as six (command) or eight (rank-and-file) infantry, or four cavalry (horses included). Artillery and field command (generals and aides) packs will depend on the figures being modeled, but two cannon, eight crew, and two field commanders (horses included) will be the general rule. Pricing will be around £3.00 GBP per pack.
