Painted Bolt Action Miniatures from Warlord Games

Adam from Lancashire writes:

I've always wondered that about the degree markings myself. I did a google search and found this:

"HG3102
Centaur C.S. MK.IV, British Cruiser Tank MK.VIII, A27L 95mm Howitzer
On D-day while in landing craft the Royal Marines Armored Support Group 1st Armored
Support Regiment, 2nd Battery, H Troop Centaurs fired at beach obstacles and bunkers
and ashore provided infantry fire support. The white degree markings around the turret
made it possible for shipboard spotters using binoculars to align the 95mm Howitzer with
a target even if it was obscured by dense smoke. Disregarding orders to remain on the
beaches the RMASG moved inland to support troops. Several weeks later with beaches
secured the Centaurs were withdrawn to England."

Paul Sawyer of Warlord Games writes:

With our Bolt Action releases coming at a feverish pace, we don't always have the chance to have miniatures painted before they are released. Not a problem, though - it means we get to show the models again later!

Three new sets have been painted and delivered to Warlord HQ...

Raus!

First up is Raus! This set depicts a team of German Panzer-grenadiers disembarking swiftly from their Sdfkz 251 half-track. Bags of character and movement in this set, and painter Darren Linington has worked his usual magic!

Centaur

Next up are two vehicles painted up by the one and only Troop of Shewe - British Centaur CS tank and SS Recce Commander Viktor Grabner's captured Humber armoured car.

We'll have more painted pics to show off soon!
