Joe-

I'm simply pointing out that based on your first post, you are comparing the value of the two publications by the number of pages alone, which doesn't make much sense to me. Unless you are going to use them as ballast, or to start a fire.

Value is in the content, no? I'd much rather pay 10$ for 10-pages of really good stuff than $5 USD for 100 pages of fluff.

Now, all that said, has anyone actually downloaded "LoF?"

Lock 'n Load Publishing writes:

Rocky Mount, Virginia - Lock 'n Load Publishing announces the first issue of their company magazine, Line of Fire, is on sale and available via download. The magazine is 63 pages thick, and includes five new Lock 'n Load, World at War, and Island War Deluxe scenarios, five new maps, a huge Heroes of the Blitzkrieg preview, as well as previews for Flintlock, No Middle Ground, Ring of Hills, and Heroes of Stalingrad.

Additionally, there are articles tacticae on Swift and Bold, armor in Band of Heroes, asymmetric war in Day of Heroes, and units and play in Forgotten Heroes. But that's not all - there's a well-illustrated battle report on the Not One Step Back scenario, Prochorovka, and much, much more.
