I work at Colonial Williamsburg in the Governor's Palace. Spend my days talking about Lord Dunmore…so psyched to see the Ethiopians!

David Gregory

Although a little on the large size for wargaming, I've made a 75mm figure of our five-times-great-grandfather, David Gregory, when he was Captain in the 45th (Nottinghamshire) regiment at the Battle of Talavera in 1809. He later became Lt. Colonel of the regiment (just before he died). We only recently found we had any military ancestry, so it was a bit of a shock when we found his regiment was our local one, the museum being five minutes walk from my house! There was another surprise when his pistol turned up for sale the day after we found out about him!! This will a 75mm resin figure, possibly a limited edition.
