Gee. I "said goodbye" to 40K when they switched from 3rd to 4th.

GW absolutely relies upon the cynical acceptance of the "new edition" cash grab.
Celebrating the death of the current edition is rather sad. It's … accepting the inevitable obsolescence of your current expensive army.
Historical gamers are spared that. One isn't required to buy a new regiment of SYW Austrian Grenzers because the latest edition of favored rules rendered the old unit obsolete and non-canonical.

This is a two-day event. Our annual Grand Tournament has drawn players from around the Midwest.
