The docks are a modular design allowing a wide variety of arrangements. Stairs and ramps make it easy to reach the upper level. Bridges cross small channels and connect different sections. Bridges, railings and bollards don't need to be glued in place. This allows you to create different layouts each time you play.
This is a very useful set for any fantasy or pirate game setting (e.g. Frostgrave, Ghost Archipelago, Blood & Plunder). I can even imagine a German U-Boot being supplied for its next mission…
