I prefer the local PDF to a web magazine any day of the week (except Tuesday).

Anyone know what number they are up to now (i.e the newest) for CD release?

Patient Zero of Wargames Fever writes:

Back issues of Miniature Wargames magazine on CD have proved immensely popular over the last several years. With 25 issues on each CD, readers like the fully searchable PDF format, the period-by-period index, and, not least, the space they save compared to the paper copies.

Unfortunately, inflation has caught up with them and, for the first time since the product was launched, it will be necessary to increase the price of a single CD from £9.49 GBP to £10.99 GBP, effective 1 February. This will still be equivalent to just £0.44 GBP an issue.

The good news is, firstly, you have until then to buy the CDs at the existing price, and secondly, the already discounted prices of the four- and twelve-CD sets will remain unchanged – making them even better value than ever.

These CDs are available direct from wargamesfever.com now.

On 1 February, the publisher will launch the CD of issues 326-350, covering the June 2010 through June 2012 issues, plus the 2011 Sci-Fi and Fantasy Special. Watch the skies for further announcements!
