NickNorthStar of North Star writes:

The new Osprey wargame in their OWG series (including In Her Majesty's Name, Lion Rampant) for December is Rogue Stars.

Rogue Stars

Rogue Stars, written by Andrea Sfiligoi, is set in a science-fiction underworld.

This is the author's description of the game:

Rogue Stars is a character-based science-fiction skirmish wargame, where players command crews of bounty hunters, space pirates, merchants, prospectors, smugglers, mercenary outfits, planetary police and other such shady factions from the fringes of galactic civilization. Crews can vary in size, typically from four to six, and the character and crew creation systems allow for practically any concept to be built. Detailed environmental rules that include options for flora, fauna, gravity, dangerous terrain and atmosphere, and scenario design rules that ensure that missions are varied and demand adaptation and cunning.

North Star is making a small range of metal 28mm figures to go with the game. The initial release is based on the illustrations of Johan Egerkrans, and these are available to pre-order now in one of our famous Nickstarter campaigns. You can read more about it here.
