Callan writes:

Comparison with Testudo is difficult because Testudo figures are not of consistent scale. I have some Testudo cavalry and they are great, mixing perfectly with other 18mm ranges like Acies Edizioni and By Fire & Sword. They are also about the same height as Khurasan, but the heads (and helmets) on the latter are somewhat bigger. As such I wouldn't mix Khurasan and Testudo in the same unit, but on the same table they are fine.

The Testudo infantry is a completely different bag. While not that much taller than the other 18mm ranges, they are much more massive and the heads are twice the size of a BFAS or AB figure. If memory serves me right, they are not far off what used to go for 25mm dwarves back in the old days. So asking for compatibility with Testudo is somewhat of a moot point.

Coming back to Totentanz, I only have their infantry figures to comment on, but those are realistically proportioned 1:100 scale figures which match perfectly other "non-heroic" 18mm figures like BFAS, AB, Eureka et al, both in height and head size. As such they certainly look very different from the Testudo infantry. Unfortunately I don't have any Khurasan foot to compare with, but they certainly would not look out of place facing up against my 15mm Matchlock Swedes, being just a mm taller and a little bit slimmer.
