Gamers familiar with Mongrel Miniatures know them as a 1980s-centric, Cold War era line of miniatures. That has and will continue to change in 2018.
Mongrel Miniatures is pleased to announce a range of modern 28mm Pakistani soldiers, sculpted by miniature artist Paul Hicks. The first packs will enable you to game the recent conflicts in Pakistan's Waziristan province against the Pakistani Taliban, as well as a number of "what-ifs" involving coalition forces, Afghan forces, and beyond.
Mongrel has also greatly expanded its original Mujahedeen range of aniti-Soviet 1980s rebels to include many new figures. All have been remolded and reorganized into more logical packs. The addition of the high command pack with a very recognizable Osama bin Laden and Mullah Omar figure (also by Mr. Hicks) make these figures useful for the internal Afghan conflicts after World War II through the Soviet Invasion in the 1980s to the Taliban/Tora Bora era and up to today.
While we have plans to continue to expand the Cold War lines and reintroduce and expand the Congo mercenaries, 2018 will also see the expansion of the Pakistani range and some more current moderns. Follow Badger Games on Twitter and watch our Facebook and website for further news!
