Nice stuff! How about mules with alternative heads or mules in alternative poses, for that matter? With more than a couple of mules in the same pose, a baggage train might look odd …

Paul Sawyer of Warlord Games writes:

This week we've a heady mix of things to announce:

Imperial Roman Ballista

Firstly, we're showing off our forthcoming Imperial Roman Ballista. This beast was sculpted by none other than Tim Adcock of Games Workshop fame!

Secondly, we want to say a big 'thank you' to our legion of fans who came along to Historicon in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, this weekend. It was terrific to meet so many of you face to face and to chat about Warlord Games, wargaming, etc. It was also great to meet some of the wargaming industries 'names' in the flesh - you know who you are! We had a great time - Rich, Brett and John went home tired but very happy after a great show. 'Well done' to the HMGS and the organizers of the show, a great effort. A big thanks to our No Nudity in Fanatics campaign, those guys were great fun and we have more to come…

Next, it is with heavy heart we have to announce a price adjustment on our metal models. We've achieved so much in a short seven months, and we always said we would give great value for money and hope you think so, too. Regrettably, we are going to have to put our metal models up in price, as our supplier has increased their prices and to a level we cannot absorb on your behalf any longer. We're not happy about this, and there really is nothing we can do about it apart from announce it now, and give you a couple of weeks to place orders at the current prices before the price adjustment comes into force on 18th August. This increase only applies to metal models - not plastic or resin. We feel confident that our overall pricing structure remains very competitive, and Warlord products are great value for money - judging by your reactions and orders, you do too!

Finally some really good stuff - our news releases this week! A welcome addition to our webstore is that fine organ, Wargames Illustrated! You can now add everyone's favourite wargaming magazine to your order.

In addition to Wargames Illustrated, we have three new additions to our range this week: a Pack Mule for our Imperial Romans, a new Celtic Druid, and you can now buy our metal spears in packs of 50.

Phew! It's been a busy week - glad it's the weekend!
