Well, sirs, although living on the Other Side of the Moon…I already got mine (thanks Dave!). And it is …GREAT, in every sense. Excellent details as ever and a real piece of show on my wargames table, together with some of Dave's Horsas. Strongly recommended, in my view.

Armaments In Miniature LLC will have a 15mm (1/100) scale resin British G.A.L. 49 Hamilcar heavy assault/freight glider at Cold Wars '09 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Hamilcar glider

The main part of the model is a one-piece casting, with a few small parts (main/tail wheels, skids, etc.) to be attached. The main landing gear is optional, since in some cases it was dropped after take-off to allow the glider to land in a shorter distance using the skids.

The cost will be $35.00 USD each. AIM LLC will also offer a set of British decals/markings sized for the model for $4.00 USD per set (does one glider).

See you at Cold Wars!
