The next two box sets for the Starship Troopers miniatures game will be appearing in your local stores this coming week - the CHAS unit and a squad of Female Cap Troopers.
The CHAS
A relatively recent development for the Mobile Infantry, the CHAS unit is a robotic device with the firepower of an entire squad of troopers and enough armour to withstand even a Warrior Bug's attacks. As tough as a Marauder suit, the CHAS permits the MI to engage in dangerous operations without risking the lives of valuable troopers. It comes armed with Morita Ape Special guns, a Hel Flamer, a Javelin Missile Launcher and a Trip Hammer Mortar - and can fire all of these at once with a special Alpha Strike action. The CHAS also comes equipped with Autoloaders, Jump Jets and Deathwish Circuits that permit it to self destruct when the bugs get too close and the position becomes hopeless.
Female Cap Troopers
There is no discrimination among the Mobile Infantry, and highly trained women are easily the equal of any male trooper. This box set contains eight metal Cap Troopers, to be used as a single squad or split up among other squads to produce a more realistic balance. Six are armed with Morita Rifles (two of which make for good Sergeants or Officers), one has a Triple Thud Grenade Launcher and the last has a Morita Long Sniper Rifle.
