Mark "Extra Crispy" Severin of Scale Creep Miniatures writes:

The initial draft of my ACW variant of Grande Armee is nearly complete. I should have it wrapped up over the weekend, and I am currently looking for playtesters.

Bitter Angels

The working title is Bitter Angels. As with Grande Armee, they are grand tactical in nature. A stand is 3" square and typically represents a brigade. The ground scale is 1" = 100 yards. The number of figures on the base, and the sale of the figures are irrelevant. You can use whatever figures you have - just make some 3" square movement trays out of green mat board and you're set!

I am currently looking for playtesters. The initial draft is pretty rough, so at this stage you'll probably want to adjust things "on the fly." I hope to begin running games at various conventions starting (with any luck) at Historicon 2010.

If you or your club would like to help playtest these, please get in touch. Updates and announcements will be primarily made on the Grande Armee Yahoo! Group, with occasional posts here at TMP.

If you want to get a draft of the rules without having to join the Yahoo! Group, you may contact me directly here.
