We're pleased to offer our newest historical range - pre-Colombian Eastern Forest Culture American Indians.
These are a colorful army, with the wooden body armour worn by some warriors before European musketry rendered it immediately obsolete.
And speaking of which, here they are, attacking with hardwood clubs. We've tried to engineer them so that the bow is removable per Field of Glory (which does not list the armoured warriors as bow-armed, although gamers might want to keep the bow, as these warriors most definitely used it).
Next up are the braves who made up the bulk of these armies. They are depicted with shields, clubs or bows and can be used in warbands or as skirmishers.
Finally, we offer a chief in wooden armour with the deerskin headdress (complete with antler decoration) and holding a wampum belt, a symbol of authority.
Every effort has been made to depict these models as the tribes would appear before European influence changed their weapons, dress or tactics... no more making due with Colonial-era native figurines to field ancient armies!
We've been told these will make outstanding "Picts" for Hyborian gaming as well, Howard apparently basing his Picts on American Indians as much as on the historical European tribes.
