Should I really be this interested in painting food? I admit that I am, and it worries me….

shaun from s and s models of S&S Models writes:

Those wishing to make their 20mm Middle East games a little more realistic can now model the typical Middle East food market or bazaar, typical of the type found in Afghanistan or Iraq.

Some of the range available

S&S Models have released a pack of assorted foodstuffs, sacks, rugs, and even some scales in white metal.

Usable from 2000BC to 2010AD (apart form the plastic cooking oil containers), the majority would even be usable for 28mm scale games as well.

Sculpted by Chris Woffenden, the attention to detail is excellent. He has now sculpted even more pieces, another set of scales, more rugs, food sacks, and even an open cardboard box.

Cooking oil cans, food sack, and plates of food

We have also released a pack of modern Bergens for vehicle stowage as well, more pics on our picture site.

A PDF list will be available by about mid-week.

We have quite a few new terrain and vehicle pieces to release over the next few weeks.

Thanks!
