Simon Douglas of Solway Crafts and Miniatures writes:

Solway Crafts and Miniatures have released their first publication, a sourcebook for 1938 - A Very British Civil War.

1938 - A Very British Civil War

The plot hangs around the Abdication Crisis in mid-30's Britain, and sees country and Empire divided into a host of factions - including the Anglican League, British Union of Fascists, Liverpool Freestate, and Army of the Scottish Republic.

48pp colour throughout, the sourcebook includes background to the conflict, details on the major factions, plus scenarios set in Somerset, Kent and Liverpool.

Primarily aimed at 25mm/28mm interwar-period players, 1938 provides a different setting with lots of possibilities for using your own local history. The book is being promoted by demo games at a number of U.K. events this year, starting with Crusade at Penarth.

The sourcebook is available from Solway Crafts and Miniatures via their eBay shop at £10.99 GBP plus £1.50 GBP postage.
