Doesn't Margaret Weis Productions have the DL rights now? Or rather whoever it is that publishes the current RPG stuff for the setting?

Any chance of seeing a resculpt of the Avalyne figure pair? As you say it would still go well with the giant, and the painting is another of my favourite Elmore pieces.

Jeff Easley Dragons Set #1 - Sneak Peeks from Dark Sword Miniatures

Happy New Year to everyone here at TMP from Dark Sword Miniatures, Inc.

We wanted to kick off the new year by sharing the first pics of our new miniature line - Jeff Easley Dragons.

Jeff Easley dragon art

Jeff Easley is the acclaimed cover artist of the Dungeons and Dragons 1st and 2nd edition hardback rulebooks, along with many modules, novels, MTG cards, and Dragon Magazine covers. Jeff Easley, along with the rest of the Fab Four (Larry Elmore, Keith Parkinson and Clyde Caldwell), really put TSR/Dungeons and Dragons on the map in the mid-1980's into the mid-1990's.

Jeff Easley dragon

This dragon is a stout/pitbull-type dragon with the thick and short neck that many of the Easley dragons are known for. It is in the same size range (mid-sized) as our award-winning Elmore Dragons set 1 and 2 pieces. Dave Summers really nailed the sculpting on this piece (along with the Parkinson Northwatch piece he also sculpted for us).

You can see more pics of this piece on the Dark Sword Miniatures website, along with new painted pics of the Parkinson Northwatch Dragon and Rider that Matt Verzani painted up.

We must also give the old "Top Gun Salute" to Reaper Miniatures on the release of their 1,000th Dark Heaven Miniature. Excellent work. Now if Anne would only paint one up....

Best wishes to everyone here at TMP in 2006!
