Remember back in 2005, when I promised pictures of those Sumerian chariot stands in 6mm?

It's getting close to Salute 2010, so I thought I'd just write a little update to whet your appetite and fill you all in on what will be included in the box.

Cover art

Karl Kopinski has finished the cover art, and I think you will agree he has done an outstanding job!

Renedra are in the final stages of finishing the tooling. They were kind enough to provide me with some plasterscene impressions of the cavities that have been cut for some of the figures.

Plasterscene impression

Bear in mind, these are made from plasterscene... so the final figures will hold sharper detail!

Here's what you will get in the box

This box contains 34 28mm hard-plastic multi-part figures: 20 in linen armor, eight unarmored, four in bronze armor, one piper, and one optional command figure.

Also included is a sheet of 50 waterslide transfers, a frame of bases for all the figures, and an eight-page booklet containing all the information you will need to build and paint your figures... all for the princely sum of £16.00 GBP.

Helmet sheet preview

I am going to be working with Gerry Embleton in Switzerland this week... Hopefully, this will be the last unexpected trip for a while!

And finally, my large sheet of transfers are now shipping!

More will follow shortly....
