First Look: Italian Fiat 15 Ter Truck

Back to Hobby News

Tricks writes:

When we started up we spent a lot of time looking at photos and measurements on vehicles and then comparing that with the '28mm' stuff that was around at the time for the period – Primarily Copplestone and Renegade. We foudn that the 1/56th was just too small in many cases for those figures. The same really applies to the Great War miniatures stuff which is also on the large side.

Brigade stuff is smaller and so the SJ stuff is maybe not so suited for that. But for the other companies I mentioned I find 1/56th to be too small.

If you look at the website you can see some of our 1/48th stuff alongside figures from Copplestone and various Pulp manufacturers. I think they scale up pretty well.

Richard Tyndall of Sloppy Jalopy announces:

These pictures are of our next release which is the Italian Fiat 15 Ter truck, which was used extensively by the Entente forces in WWI. The scale is 1/48 as with all our other WWI and Interwar vehicles.

Please note that as with all our other white-metal vehicles, these are kits and will need constructing.

We have now started production of these, but release will be delayed until I can actually get home from work for long enough to do the packaging, etc. So I would expect them to be on sale by the end of March.
