This is a fortified camp set, based on the Hoppidus modular system for ancient fortifications, and designed specifically for FoG. This set contains a selection of modules that let you create a Late Imperial Roman fortification, such as a Saxon Shore or a Limes semi-permanent fort; as such, it is also perfect for a Dark Age fort!

Hoppidus is a truly modular system, and all elements of this set are compatible with the rest of the range. This means you can also add more elements from the complete Hoppidus range to expand and customize this basic set - for example, adding a HOP4 - Modular Late Imperial Roman Fortification to make a huge enclosed fortified perimeter that can be used for a scenario game or even as a Built-Up Area!

Just remember, you can pick-and-choose any combination of modules you like, you can have them ready-assembled and painted if you prefer, and we're always here to help you at any time, so just email us for any special requirements!

To those who are familiar with our ranges, it may look very similar to the DBA version (except that it is bigger, of course!), but in fact this kit has been completely remastered to improve the way the parts connect to each other, and now also include four new stockade parts - which means that apart for the usual sprue-cutting and cleaning, it is ready to assemble as it comes out of the pack! The new parts will be included also in all the new DBA kits we produce from now on, but obviously some of the old kits will still be around for a while... the final model is pretty much the same, but with the old one you will need to cut a couple of stockades to size and add some wooden posts (included) to fill the gap in the corners...
